CHRI holds conference on using interactive technology for police training in Kathmandu


Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) organised a conference Using Interactive Technology for Police Training and Public Engagement: Showcasing the Virtual Police Station’ on October 24 and 25, 2017 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The objective of the conference was to demonstrate an e-learning tool called the Virtual Police Station (VPS) which CHRI has developed with the help of the Rajasthan Police in India.

The conference brought together participants, funders, civil society, the police and designers from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. CHRI seeks to assist civil society and most importantly the police to develop such a tool for their respective training institutes.
