CHRI invites entries for its 2nd Human Rights Film Festival


Submissions open for short films, documentaries on human rights

Call for entries: The Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) announces the second edition of its ‘Matter of Right (s)’ film festival, slated for 12th, 13th and 14th March 2018 in New Delhi. The festival is open to all directors, producers and distributors from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Africa and India. The focus of the feature films/documentaries should be on the issue of human rights, discrimination and gender justice of their respective countries. Films revolving around prisons and police narratives would also be welcome. A panel will select the feature film/documentaries that will be shown at this non-competitive film festival on human rights. The panel’s decision will be final and binding.

There is no registration fee.

Deadline for submissions: February 7th, 2018
