CHRI represented at the "Global Human Rights at Risk" conference at The Hague

Sarthak Roy, Research Officer with the Office of the International Director, recently participated at a conference titled "Global Human Rights at Risk" at The Hague on 6-7 June 2019. The multidisciplinary conference examined key debates and perspectives arising from various contemporary challenges to international human rights and emancipatoy politics. Mr. Roy presented his paper titled "Role of Judiciary in Combating Extrajudicial Killings: A Case Study of Manipur" as part of the Global South Panel.
 
The conference witnessed the participation of scholars across 28 countries and keynote speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Stephen Hopgood, Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse, and Prof. Dr. Emilie Hafner-Burton.
