Inside Haryana Prison

Inside Haryana Prisons provides an insight into the realities of the prisons system in Haryana and covers all 19 prisons in the state. The report has been prepared by CHRI on behalf of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority. It was developed in pursuance of Supreme Court directives, and is the culmination of the team’s in-depth examination of prisons conditions conducted over several months. It has involved in-person visits and detailed interviews with inmates and officials. A precis of findings and recommendations can be read here
