The ESTD series, which was started in 2008, is researched and produced by CHRI’s International Advocacy and Programming (IAP) team. Additionally, to keep up with the changing times, NALSA as well as SLSAs across the country have been trying to make themselves visible and accessible to the populace with campaigns and awareness programmes.
Urgent Action Desk
In response to suggestions received from the participants of the Roundtable Consultation with Key Stakeholders on Strangers to Justice. CHRI has established an Urgent Action Desk, in order to facilitate consular access, contact with family, legal representation, repatriation and transfer of prisoners under the Repatriation of Prisoners Act 2003.
