Summary of CHRI's Guidelines For Policing during Lockdown

With the rising spread of the pandemic COVID-19, CHRI has prepared detailed guidelines to assist police departments in enforcing the lockdown within the Constitutional framework. Geneva, Switzerland CHRI delivered an oral statement, in collaboration with the Fiji CSO UPR Working Group, at thenbsp;Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Report Consideration of Fiji (Agenda Item 6) at the 43rd Regular Session of the UN Human Rights Council. CHRI was amongst the only four civil society organisations that made an intervention during Fiji#39;s UPR outcome adoption by the Council.
